The ancient Gaochang’s four different periods of history was told and then in every historical stage of religious belief situation also made a general list. The Buddhism was the dominant religion, while other religions were believed by the residents in Gaochang at the same time. This belief situation was advocated by the Gaochang’s ruling class and its special geographical location, which made Gaochang the place with different religious culture.
