Journal on Sira Studies of Ahl-e Bait
The establishment or revival of a modern Iranian-Islamic civilization, with an emphasis on the efficacy of Islam—referred to today as “Civilizational Islam”—is achievable. In Shia thought, this path can be realized by adhering to the traditions and practices of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Shia religious leaders have been both expositors of authentic Islam and models of Islamic living. Understanding and recognizing their teachings and practices can establish an exemplary and ideal society.
The Islamic society of Iran, which strives to implement Islamic laws and principles by following the infallible Imams, has not sufficiently engaged in the scientific exploration of its religious leaders. Therefore, the Biannual Journal of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) Studies was established with the aim of identifying superior models and designing an elevated way of life inspired by the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Through in-depth research and methodical studies, the journal seeks to exchange findings and present contemporary achievements, taking a step toward progress and civilization-building. The journal hopes to pave a new path through interdisciplinary studies. Its approach includes introducing these noble figures, explaining their political, social, cultural, and ethical practices, and, most importantly, addressing questions or doubts related to their traditions and practices. By collaborating with dedicated and capable researchers, the journal aims to clarify ambiguities and advance understanding.
