History of Islam (HI)
The journal of History of Islam (HI) is a peer-reviewed open-access quarterly journal in Persian (with extended English abstracts and bibliographies) devoted to the fields of Islamic historiography, history of Islam, and Islamic sciences, published by the Baqir al-Olum University and is scientifically sponsored by the Islamic Seminary of Qom. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original articles, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.
The journal of History of Islam (HI) is committed to publishing cutting-edge, innovative, original, and timely research on Islamic historiography, history of Islam, and Islamic sciences. Authors are encouraged to submit original research and review manuscripts that are not under consideration for publication elsewhere to the Journal for review. All manuscripts undergo peer review to determine their originality, validity, significance, and scientific value. Submitted manuscripts are peer reviewed by members of the Editorial Board or other experts chosen by the Editor. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is responsible for final editing, decisions regarding acceptance, revisions, and rejection. Submission of a manuscript to the Journal is taken as evidence that no portion of the text, tables, or figures has been copyrighted, published, or submitted for publication elsewhere, unless information regarding previous publication is cited and permission obtained. A copy of any such permissions obtained must accompany the manuscript.

Aims and Scope
The Journal of History of Islam aims to publish original research papers about epistemic and methodological problems of the study of history in the framework of Islamic thought. The submitted papers should have one of the following criteria,
- Innovation in the analysis of a period of the history of Islam and the history of Shia regarding the new issues
- Philosophy of history
- Studying social history, cultural history, economic history, etc in the field of the history of Islam
- Study the historical thought of Muslim scholars and its effect in other fields such as tafsir, kalam, fiqh, and rijal.
- Critically study the views of western orientalists and scholars of Islam in history.
