Cultural and Social Biography of the Imams in the Shia Four Books

Author: Ali Akbar Zakeri

Following the example of role models is one of the educational methods in Islam. The progress of a society depends on the educated individuals who are presented as role models. People always consider outstanding, hardworking, and educated individuals as their role models in their lifestyle. The biography of the great personalities is their performance and lifestyle, and following them is to act according to their biography. The Quran considers Prophet Abraham and the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) as role models for other Muslims and wants us to follow their good traits. This work is dedicated to the biography of the Prophet of Islam and the Ahlul-Bayt, who are among the greatest human beings. The Ahlul-Bayt refers to the beloved daughter of the Prophet, Fatima (peace be upon her), his cousin and son-in-law, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and eleven of their descendants, whom we call the Imams and the fourteen infallibles. This book presents the cultural and social biography of these great personalities from the most important and reliable Shia hadith sources, which are the Shia Four Books, with the hope of shedding light on people’s lifestyle.
