The Prophet Muhammad and the Qur’an have a strong relationship, including many
features. It establishes that the Qur’an is confirmation of God’s word as spoken by
the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad. Additionally, the Qur’an instructs,
supports and defends Muhammad in his mission to spread the word about Islam.
Moreover, the Qur’an is the primary source of historical information about
Muhammad, his life and his mission.
